Upright tufted shrub with bright green strappy foliage and sprays of flowerheads that sit above the foliage, followed by shiny pale blue berries. Frost tolerant.
Attractive clumping plant for rockeries, cottage gardens and underplanting of established trees.

The leaf can be split in two down the mid-rib and rolled into string for use in tying and basket weaving.
