Perennial herb forming clumps of very spiky, metallic blue to purple foliage, and spiky flowerheads. Dies down over winter.
Used in rockeries, open garden beds, or as cut flowers for fresh or dried arrangements. Prune to remove dead foliage and spent flowerheads.
